Funny...I feel like I should have made a journal addressing this sooner... :stupidme:

Anyways, just letting y'all know you can find me and my newest artworks at :iconaaronasher: now!
I'm not sure if I plan on moving all my artwork from here to there or what yet...but for now all of my newest stuff is being uploaded and shown there.

Please drop by the gallery and be sure to watch me on there if you wanna see what I can do!
I really appreciate every one of you and hope you'll stick with me still. ^u^ /)

Sincerely,

So...I'm a little tired of my closet looking like a war zone mixed with a cyclone and figured it was time to whittle down on what I own... apart from old clothes that could use a new home, worn-out shoes that need the boot, and sundry toys and plushies that need more sunlight...I figured some of my old Zoid models might be fair game to anyone else who could possibly use them. I also have a crudload of kitbashable odds and ends I might just sell as-is for anyone interested...some are from tiny models like Gatordus, others from monsters like Gordosaur and so on. Much of the collection has been altered or painted in some way, so little to nothing is mint. A lot of the spare bits would be purely for replacement or scrap.

The main issue I have with selling these things is shipping. I originally figured I could send tiny things fairly cheap, but their irregular size usually makes envelopes tricky business and even small boxes can cost an arm and a leg... this is mainly why I'd rather send a decent collection of bits and bobs instead of single parts. :/ More bang for the buck and so on. I'd proposed this a while back but only just now have reconsidered, as I really do need to unload this stuff. |D

Stuff I'm considering for the slab also includes an intact silver/black-painted Hasbro Gojulas Giga, a Hasbro Genobreaker missing its crusher arms and guns, a repainted, slightly damaged Hasbro Dark Spiner with guns missing, and possibly a repainted Hasbro Death Stinger, intact and simply repainted with Testors paint. The motorized bits, I'm not sure about, I rarely used that feature, though I know Giga's batteries were about gone the last time I used him (the roar and stomps sounded cooler slowed down though lol)

I'll try to take inventory at some point and maybe even get some pictures for y'all to look over. I'm feeling pretty sick and I ended up doing chores since my brain isn't working so nicely for me. =u=;

Just thought I'd pop a little heads-up thingy here let y'all be aware I'm scheming Zoid stuff before I do anything on Ebay or suchlike. I'll figure out prices and stuff, also.

I'll accept Paypal payment only.
No points, as I'd really rather not give deviantART anything after their recent anti-paypal payment overhaul. :/

I did it.
I caved in.
I got a dang Instagram.

I intend to use it as a "this is a cool thing I found that fascinated me, maybe you'll dig it, too" platform, with photos of life at home, on the road, and everywhere in between. Expect to see some abandoned places, Zoid models, animals, bright and lovely things and dark and eerie things.

  1. How long have you been on DeviantArt?
Looking back to my oldest account, I've been around dA since February 3rd of 2003! Whoa!

  2. What does your username mean?
It was inspired from a little comic series idea I got. Sakura is the Japanese word for "cherry blossom", so it's a pun on the idea of a cherry bomb, only much more floral. The original comic name was "Gunpowder Daisies" xD
I liked it because it suggested there's an explosion of beauty and aesthetic going on.

  3. Describe yourself in three words.
    Loyal, dedicated, caffeinated

  4. Are you left or right handed?
    Right-handed.

  5. What was your first deviation?
Wow, um...that's long since gone from my old account, but this is one I did have on there, so I'll let it count (it was done in 2005 and was one of my most popular works):
OC RP - Aaron Asher SMASH by SakuraBomb

  6. What is your favourite type of art to create?
Art that tells stories and reveals stuff about characters - expressive artwork with some kind of subtext or narrative, comics, and so on. Just my characters being themselves.

  7. If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?
Something more along the line of realism - I'm not bad at it, but I'd definitely love to be super-refined with that.

  8. What was your first favourite?
Uhm...hm... I'm gonna guess it was one of the top-favorited ones, maybe that phoenix one? But I really dig spookydoom's stuff.
    I MEAN JUST
And then there's this posh bastard... by spookydoom
Her character design is lovely. This is her style of Bill. YES.
All the Gravity Falls goodness, ugh. Her OCs are freaking amazing, too *u* I <3 Chester and Kilroy much much.

  9. What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?
Zoids, photography, original characters, fan art... hard to say.

  10. Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?
I have a lot of artists I adore and who inspire me, but for sheer awesomeness and as a friend, I'm definitely giving AuroraLion that spot. Her Zoids artwork is drop-dead gorgeous and her other works are fantastic, too!
I MEAN, JUST LOOK AT THIS
    Kronos by AuroraLion
    UGHHH SO GOOD. *A*

  11. If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?
Aaaahhhh! Again, I'd love to meet so many of my friends I've made here. ;~; I can't pick, are you mad?! ALL OF THEM.

  12. How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?
Inspoiration and a desire to push forward no matter what, and to always improve...artists like AuroraLion and yuumei are so incredible - part of me can't believe I could ever be that good, but yet I'm so in awe by their work that I can't help but also think, if they can do it, so can I! I'll keep trying and do my best!

  13. What are your preferred tools to create art?
My Wacom tablet and stylus and Paint Tool SAI...though traditional media like inks and conte crayon and charcoal have caught my fancy lately. <3

  14. What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?
Usually right at home, but I really find old and abandoned places to be incredibly inspiring somehow, especially textile mills and factories. They give off this magnificent aura of history and hard work and a testament to human ingenuity that stands tall even as nature slowly reclaims it... it's mysterious and gives me goosebumps just to think about.

  15. What is your favourite DeviantArt memory?
    Just...really, all the friends I've made and seeing how much I've grown since 2003. It's really something. ;w;
